Unlike in the common areas, we chose to add color to the walls of the bedrooms. Furthermore, we carefully selected the wallpapers so as to create an environment that encourages imagination and creativity, and promotes relaxation.
The upper floor hosts the master bedroom, the study, and a guest bedroom.
The master bedroom exudes an air of power. The dressing room is the first thing one comes across upon entering the room. Black details mentally connect this space with the austerity of the maisonette, balanced out by the use of wood as well as green details, which enhance the earthy vibe of the room.
The owner's study is located in the most central part of the residence. It is a comfortable space, with easy access to all other areas.
The strong need for storage areas has been accommodated without affecting the harmony of the space. Thus, the wardrobes in the corridor are almost ‘concealed’, thanks to smart techniques: the use of a mirror in one wardrobe, as well as wooden slat panels in the same color as the wall.
The roof garden was designed in accord with the fact that this is an urban area, so the aesthetics should harmonize with it.
Therefore, we chose an 'urban chic' style, using modern materials such as stone and concrete, black marble, and a dark shade of wood.
The deck and dividers add warmth to the space while maintaining the chic modern style.
The jacuzzi and the two lounge areas are elevated on a deck where hidden lighting has been incorporated, thus giving an illusion of floating.
At the back of the lounge, where the jacuzzi is located, a special structure has been created, painted gray and featuring wooden blinds and linear lighting. It is a modern lighting solution that highlights the jacuzzi area while also creating a magical atmosphere that promotes relaxation at any time of the day.
Hidden lighting has also been incorporated in the built-in flower boxes, which also act as dividers, adding privacy. The selection of plants and flowers was made with ease of maintenance and resistance to urban conditions in mind.
Wooden dividers in square canvases were used to separate spaces where necessary.
A small kitchen including a barbeque was placed between the two lounge areas, and right across from it a bar counter with stools.
